Pitching is a fair concern, but I'm optimistic (no shocker, there)
No doubt, it will be a challenge to replace Eberle.
But Keely Rochard looked really good during fall ball and she could have a monster year. Of course, she will have to do so if the Hokies are to duplicate last season's success. With the ACC schedule being single games on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, it's not crazy to think she might get all three starts.
I also think Kaylee Hewitt could have a really solid year, assuming she remains healthy. She came on really strong at the end of fall ball.
On the offensive side, thee's a solid nucleus returning and I think Kelsey Brown will be a fun addition to watch. That young lady can simply fly!
That early test in the St. Pete/Clearwater Invitational will be interesting. And, of course, the first game of that tournament will be the Hokies versus Oklahoma State (led by Carrie Eberle). Think that match-up occurred by accident?
Let's Go Hokies!
