I don't believe he has the authority to turn down the ESPN deal on his own. I think he has to present that to the Presidents. I don't believe he is a good commissioner by any metric. He clearly doesn't have any ideas on what to do to fix the P12 problems.
The problem with the P12N is that it doesn't make money. Investors are not going to buy into a losing business model. ESPN isn't going to pay a premium price for a money losing network. The P12 should bargain for something they say they want like better start times.
