Follow up to the Kobe flight thread(s) yesterday


This graphic shows EXACTLY what I was thinking in my head...and also makes me realize that is also very deceptive. The altitude profile makes it look like the thing dropped out of the sky...but only because this graph does not show the horizontal component. If that type of helicopter can truly be in a controlled decent at almost 70 feet per second...Edge says it can...then it is totally possible he just flew it into the hill....
