We actually had a guy trying to make a joke at a neighborhood HOA

meeting show up wearing a michael myers mask. we have a handful not a big fan of our developer so he was more or less trying to make a mockery of the situation. not the best move considering we had a board of supervisors member in attendance and one member of local law enforcement already on hand.

It also didn't help that the year prior was when random people started showing up around our area (Chesterfield/Midlothian) in various public trails/places wearing clown masks.

he was fortunate that after the officer (with a second showing up for "backup" i assume) pulled him out of the meeting to discuss the issue, that he wasn't formally charged. I thought it was a pretty dumb move but multiple people knew it was going to happen so no one, save for maybe the officer originally and the supervisor, were surprised or worried for our safety and folks were willing to speak up for him.
