My son was an accomplished high school baseball player He did travel, high school, off season training. He is 6-4 and left handed. We did college camps. Through it all I saw hundreds of kids with the same dreams. In Virginia if course, the dream is to be the next Justin Verlander. Two of them earned I-A baseball scholarships at JMU and VCU

Point being, the odds of becoming a player at an FBS football program are infinitely small. For every kid on a top tier football roster like Michigan, there are 10,000 kids dreaming it’s them. So likely if you pressed details it’s not that “Michigan” or that “West Virginia”.
