I get a sinking feeling slow playing a lie that you know something about


In one off the record dinner conversation, somebody I mentioned earlier in this thread told us:

- he had a 6-7 *ACRE* vegetable garden at home
- had a Chevy Luv drag truck with a 502 that dynoed 1180 horsepower naturally aspirated with a supercharger (his exact words in that order)
- all his friends' dads had Cessnas and they used to fly them after school before their parents got home
- BS in mechanical engineering and BS in electrical engineering (he started out with us as a service technician at age 40 in the 2010s)

The type of guy that I think lies to impress and then when he doesn't get the reaction he needs he just lies harder
