125, 133, and 285 have essentially no chance to get to the finals ...


because of their losses last night which drops them into matches against the #1 seeds. This also benefit NCS at those weights because their guys moved up in the seeding to 2 or 3. The problem also is that the #3 seeds gets those Duke wrestlers who don't mind getting pinned. The 3 VT wrestlers I mentioned dropping out of those potential bonus point matches.

In the end, this is gives VT almost zero chance to get past NC State. I would take a 2nd place finish for VT at this point because they could finish 4th.
