I was doubtful about your earliest C-19 posts, but am not a skeptic now.


Question: how could our country have prepared for this? I don't want to go back down the flu, or traffic accidents, or opioid deaths trails again as far as what we accept as "mature" or "normal" social maladies.

But given what you and your medical colleagues have seen, could the US have realistically, scientifically (not Hollywood) have had the supplies, beds, tests and mobility, ready and unused, to absorb this without these spreading death rates?
