I hate Beamers -- engineering tolerances are just too tight and the car ...


… becomes persnickety and expensive to repair. A Mercedes is wayyyyyy more durable and sensible.

The car I hated was a 1999 BMW 528i with a stupid adaptive transmission.
The car I loved was my 1990 Mercedes 300E.

Now, I have no idea how Mercs and Beamers compare in the modern world.
