But that was a disjointed conference, waiting for others to pick off teams. The Big Least should have gone "all in" for a "all sports conference." Many were calling for that back then, but Mikey T was placating the basketball only schools, who eventually left to form their own conference. (Actually they took the name, and left everyone else to pick up the pieces.)
