I didn't misunderstand anything, nor did I correct anything from my initial post. Perhaps you're assigning a message to my posts that was not actually there. I posted that the virus can be spread via objects such as mail, groceries, etc., which is 100% true. When the first round of vaccines is available, it won't be enough to treat anywhere close to enough people to reach herd immunity, meaning that the virus will still be present for some time even after vaccination begins. That also means it could still be transmitted via mail and groceries. So I was simply posing the question, do you begin vaccinations with the general population or do you begin with the elderly? I didn't take a stance either way and was simply trying to have a discussion.

I'm not sure why that was difficult to comprehend.
