It's love/hate with Brands


There's a lot not to like about the guy, leaving after two years, lacked class. Even Buzz Williams lasted longer than that. His refusal to wrestle VT is petty. His eye-bulging interviews aren't really my style.

I do like the Iowa style of wrestling and how their guys just go after you. That style of wrestling was what made the Dresser era great.. practice was competitive and brutal. I also like the way that Brands never gave up on Dan Dennis, even if it meant that Dennis never got to coach at VT.
