No one knew about it until a few minutes ago. It is not a thing maybe an urban legend we haven't heard of, but definitely not a thing. "Tar baby" was definitely a thing and is definitely derogatory and 98% of us likely know what it meaning/intent when used.

One the broader point we are always searching for things to be offended by. Changing things that have very little impact. Each thing gives a "virtue signaler" the ability to say they had impact which they didn't. It gives us excuses to not address or solve a problem, which will be loss in the mass of outrages. Insane in my view to attack this chant, statues, army base names or college dorm names, etc. If we were to really solve a problem of policing we should focus on policing and try to make a real impact. Move these other issues to a lower priority and knock them out at a later time.

BTW, not directed at you really more commentary. Frustrated with all of the non-sense gyrations deflecting from the issue. Feels like the public is being manipulated from outrage to outrage without ever solving anything meaningful. The public is so easily moved to the next shiny thing politicians, media, social media and interest groups are damaging this country in unimaginable ways.
