The prep isn't a lot of fun, but it's probably not much worse than drinking contrast solution...although the violent diarrhea is a fun time! I was diagnosed with Celiac disease a few years ago and in the process had both an endoscopy + biopsy and a separate colonoscopy. Good times. Propofol is the stuff.
