I was in new market last week

Two of the profound moments in history are a confederate soldier shooting stonewall Jackson at Chancellorsville (or nearby) and the Americans finding the Japanese carriers first at midway.

When one looks at the civil war, stonewall Jackson is an exercise in context. A devout Christian that understood that black lives mattered to God. But still a soldier committed to his duty and to his state. He may have fought for the wrong side. But his history deserves to be remembered
