It looks as if they reopened their secondary schools when they had about


about 5 deaths daily nationwide. Now they have near 0 deaths. We have 19 X their population so when we get to around 100 deaths per day nationwide maybe we can talk about doing what the Netherlands did. Instead we are back close to 1,000 per day with no improvement in the trend and probably a degrading trend. At their peak, the Netherlands had about the same per capita daily death rate so they were hit just as hard as we were. Their citizens have apparently done a much better job of social distancing, etc. than we have done. We COULD be going back to school if we had some leadership and some smarter, less selfish and less idiotic citizens. To point to one country that has nearly beaten COVID and is going back to school and wondering why we aren't doing the same misses the huge differences and the obvious reasons why entirely.
