That's definitely true. I think my issue there is it's not a new thing.
Just about every media has always had some sort of inherent bias. Every story is going to have at least some slant to it and has been that way since media was invented. I have an issue with people just completely dismissing anything from certain outlets simply because it comes from that outlet. There are plenty of stories on Fox News or CNN or MSNBC or BBC that are basically straight up factual accounts of something that happened. But there are people out there that will completely dismiss all articles and I think that's unfortunate. Like I said previously I don't watch cable news channels at all. I think too many people equate that with media and news when many of those stations run a lot of editorialized opinion type shows b/c they have to fill 24 hours worth of programming. I'll read articles from wherever and if it's something that I find interesting or entertaining I'll look into it further with my own research. Otherwise I just tune most of the rest of it out as noise.
