I purchased one once years ago from Carmax when I bought a used Explorer.

Had to take the vehicle in to a Ford dealer about a year, or so, later for some front-end work. The service rep told me it was about the best warranty they had seen (at the time, 2001).

Regarding telemarketers, my phone has a block feature - I just block any caller I don't recognize. Works great.
