Concrete stain. Going to stain our concrete patio.

I keep seeing where it says use a spray can and nozzle but I'd rather just roll it since the patio is not all that big. Any issues with it?

I see where people spray it and then backroll it. If that's the case why don't I just roll it.

And I assume I will need to seal it after? Why we couldn't just seal the patio I'll never know. I love a good extra step.
