The LX470 is the greatest SUV ever produced. Currently at 235k miles. Recently we’ve had to put some money into it as one of my daughters drives it, but I bought it 2006 and have loved this vehicle. Other than not having an aux input on the stereo (the lexus folks love their tape players) I have not complaints. I hope to get about another 100k miles out of this car.

We bought the GX470 last year. About 110k miles. It is a car for one of our other daughters. It rides like a champ. We did have two maintenance issues with it. First was the sunroof stuck open. This apparently was a common issue and a warranty item for the car. However I was out of warranty so I had to take apart the whole roof liner (major pain in the @ss) and permanently close the sunroof. We also had several other maintianence issues crop up at the same time including shocks, timing belt, etc. I am hopeful this keeps the car in good shape for a long time to come. It rides great and I am targeting getting this thing to about 150k more in miles. My Lexus repair guy says it should get 400k miles if taken care of.
