Texas & Oklahoma could create something with USC & UCLA ESPN would bless.
I have always thought it was in the best interest of Texas to gain visibility in the East, not the West. Having WVU in the Big XII has helped the Big XII get more visibility on the East Coast.
But ESPN wants very much to regain a presence for college football in California, and with the Mountain West signing with CBS and Fox, renewing the PAC12 would be a priority. But with Texas as a chess piece ESPN might endorse creating something with Texas and USC-UCLA. I'm leery of UCLA because of California's crazy government, but ESPN might step up the incentive. Oklahoma and Oklahoma State would come along for the ride. [Post edited by HOO86 at 08/31/2020 8:54PM]
