That's why it's good to not take that stuff seriously


I've been in corporate America for more than 30 years, most of them at a Fortune 300 company. At some point I decided that what people at the top think of me is unimportant, and if they lose it and get personal, that's their problem, and not mine. I've been happier since that decision.

Now if I can just find a way to care less about doing things for the best interests of the company and not for the benefit of some territory-building egomaniac, I'll be in nirvana.
