WVU ended up being the 16th member). I did find the suggestion that Notre Dame would be paired up with Pitt a little odd given WVU is a bigger rival. Also, I found it odd that UVA, VT, and WVU would be placed in the same division together. If the ACC going to realign the divisions, then I would think the movement involve multiple schools and potentially VT too so both divisions had 1 VA schools. If the ACC is "smart," and have I have my doubts about the ACC's intelligence at times, then I would the protected cross-division game could end up looking like this:

BC-Notre Dame or Syracuse
Pitt-WVU
VT-UVA
Duke-Wake
UNC-NC State
Clemson-GT
FSU-Miami
L'ville - Notre Dame or Syracuse (depending on what happens with BC)
