Im a golf purist to the hilt. Study golf course

Architecture, history, you name it. In my opinion, this is the one rule I wish they would change. Golf asks you to hit the fairway in order to have the best opportunity to hit the green. Once youve done this, you should not be penalized by someone who fails to replace a grass divot or sand fill a divot. Even if its sanded, its a different playability aspect. It wont take but a few seconds to: Mark your ball....lift it....re-drop no nearer the hole.
