Do you think the schools will want to sacrifice 1 OOC in order

so they can play the cross-division rival annually? I doubt you would find a majority of schools in favor of the idea particularly when you factor in the Notre Dame and annual ACC-SEC rivalry games. Heck UNC and Wake are treating this as a 1 time home-home series. If VT and UVA were placed in opposite divisions and paired up, then would you still be in favor of scrapping the protected cross-division game even if it meant the VT-UVA game wouldn't be played annually as a conference or OOC game?
