Not a good choice

college friend had one that he was extremely proud of that broke on the trip to Tech his sophomore year. It sat in his rental house driveway for 4 years until we graduated and he sold it for scrap value because the cost to tow it back to Warrenton exceeded his desire to keep up with it.

About 2 years after graduation my on again off again GF bought a 9-3 Aero which was an extremely sick looking car but I spent many weekends putting brakes and sensors on it and it was about 4 years old at that point.

As a weekend car... that might be the worst way to own a Saab. I am a firm believer in driving cars regularly instead of letting them sit and Saabs just kind of give me a sinking feeling. Not to mention I haven't even seen one in probably 15 years.
