Cool...today is my bday and I never knew I shared it with these folks.

I vote for Tom Petty.

Also, today would have been Mickey Mantle's 89th birthday. It would also be my paternal grandparents' 70th wedding anniversary. They have both passed in the last 9 years, and I miss them so much. My birthday isn't nearly the same without both of them here to celebrate with. Thankfully I have digitized home movies by which to relive cherished memories, and I was wise enough to save a voice message from them from one of my last birthdays when they were both alive. Hearing their voices is bittersweet, but I am so glad I have that message.

Rest in peace, Charles and Kathryne - you left behind an incredible legacy that I am so proud to be a part of.
