And that’s sort of a problem. I saw this one on the Coalfields Expressway construction project. VDOT fences don’t stop the elk from coming onto the right of way. There could be some really bad wrecks through there when it’s finished. The average white tail deer weighs 150 lbs. The average elk weighs 700. Car still wins but pays a price for it.
