Emma Lemley, P, Williamsburg Starz Gold (Virginia Tech)

Emma is a powerful right-handed pitcher who has been clocked in the high 60’s and, according to her Starz coaches, “has been dominant virtually every time she pitches. She helped the team to a 2nd place finish in the JO Cup last year and couldn’t pitch the championship game because of injury or Tom Bunn’s team may have won it. This year, says Coach Bunn: “We finished in the Top 5 again behind the strength of her pitching performances.” Known as a hard worker and well-liked teammate, Emma has had a strong fall, starting the season off 21-3 with a 0.99 ERA, 0.76 WHIP and 213 K’s in 127 innings. Emma committed to the Hokies in the 8th grade and plans to study Civil Engineering at Virginia Tech.
