Living year-round on Smith Mountain Lake vs Claytor Lake


It may be a bad night to ask after the loss to the U, but am starting to think about where to retire and both locations look like possibilities. Being fairly close to the ‘burg would be desirable so I can go to sports events and other “cultural” activities. Thanks for any insights - Go Hokies!
