If in Richmond, Regal is pretty good and cheaper than others, but
It all depends on the job.
Thompson Creek was way more expensive.
B&W was good the last time, but they stopped making the windows the wife wanted.
It usually cost about 10% more to get the next level up in efficiency. Bottom level is fine, medium if really good, best may be a bit overkill unless you live in Arizona or someplace with a ton of sun. Ask for their efficiency ratings with the price. We got the mid level, neighbor got lowest and our bills dropped more than enough compared to theirs to justify it.
80's and 90's windows were really crap compared to what they make today. The tech has improved a ton.
My SIL/BIL got wood windows from pella and paid 2x's what we paid for 1/2 the # of windows. Made no sense.
