If you haven't had them out yet, definitely don't. Surgeries suck more and

more the older you get.

I had my tonsils out at age thirty. That was just ten days of absolute hell. Wouldn't have been so bad if I'd had it done when I was seven.

And my shoulder surgery a couple years ago had an advertised 4-12 week recovery. It was 4-5 months before I was out of pain and a full year before I was actually better than I was before the surgery.
