Like JPJ to Zep, Mills was their all purpose journeyman... bass, keys...

backup vocals, sometimes lead vocals (very nice lead vox on Texarkana), mandolin, no doubt he can play guitar too..... he's a hell of a musician.

I thought about him for my pick, but Rodgers long career in killer vox, plus keys.... such a strong rock voice, and great lead man.

Free, Bad Co, The Firm, solo, brief stop with the Queen guys and wasn't bad at that, they just needed more Freddy flair.... which Lambert fit that bill.

Rodgers is a great, great rock musician, and has been for 40+ years or more.
