Read the fine print if you have a contract. If nothing there you should be


covered under a contractor's one-year general liability warranty. If they refused to settle may need to file in small claims court. Need at a minimum affidavit from electricians stating his opinion of probable cause. If you are never gone use the insulation guys again threaten poor review on BBB. They may have a clause in the contract, if you signed one, that states they are not liable for unforeseen damage because it was not obvious or something to that effect.
