Welp...MontCo Va has all but killed winter sports


Schoolboard last night didn't even entertain a vote to leave the bloc of school districts that have committed to not playing. Even though a number of those districts have since returned to play and even though all of our neighboring counties have returned to play. They have a set of unobtainable metrics that must be met, and now around a month left in the season. Winter sports competition were supposed to start a couple weeks ago. Really sad for all the kids...but especially those who had a senior season to possibly earn their way into some college opportunities.
