Back in my VT daze, a friend of mine had one he used in his Pinto (lol).
When commuting between Richmond and Tech one weekend, he took route 60 towards Appomattox. Between Cumberland and Buckingham, the road rolls up and down. Each time he hit the rise, his detector would go off, and go silent when he hit the dips. He got nervous on the third alarm, slowed down and stowed his detector. A couple of minutes later, a trooper came up and followed him for a few miles before pulling him over. He got a ticket, but they didn't look for the detector. I always think about this when I take this route to Tech.
