Just have him go to snappy lube in Christiansburg... or Valvoline...

and have him use a coupon you can usually find on-line. Those places rarely FORCE an upcharge, but will say dumb things like, "You should flush your coolant" or, your "Transmission fluid needs a Change out"... or your headlights need polishing, or you need new wiper blades..... just tell him to make note of it and say No Thank you. He will be in and out in ten minutes with new oil. He is ONLY paying for an oil change, so that is really all they are going to do.
