I rewatched Sam's match with Sherman and it was unbelievably close to a win. I think it was in the second period he tried a sweep and lost his footing, which Sherman capitalized into gaining control. Sam also came so close to having control for a takedown in the last seconds of regulation. If he pulls either situation out he probably wins and shocks everyone. Sam is definitely progressing each week, but tonight will be his toughest test up to this point.
