A couple of things more along the lines of where to buy.


Have you thought about building one? There's plenty of how to videos online. You might not save much, but you may learn something that could be useful in future troubleshooting.

Would you buy from big box store or your locally owned computer store? My impression is that service/warranty support would probably be better from the local store. My local store carries Lenovo laptops, and they did offer to do a clean install of Windows so that it wouldn't come with any of the typical bloatware usually loaded on mass production PCs/laptops. They also carried desktops under their own label, built locally - could probably customize these as needed.

I'll also echo the earlier comments about getting a "business" model instead of a consumer model.
