I trust the original owner who has a full service history.

Wouldn't think twice about buying a BMW from a private owner, or a used one from a BMW dealer. In the first case, it shows the owner took care of the auto. In the second case, it shows the dealer didn't find anything wrong with the car. If they did, they would offload it at auction.

When you buy a car at auction, you need to either know exactly what you're buying. Either you, or someone you know & trust to inspect the vehicle, and you're still not 100% sure...
