Game 4 of the 2019 NLCS


Mrs. Fiji and I attended with the couple who live next door -- great friends of ours who have also followed the Nats ever since the Expos relocated. We live about 4 hours away from DC but usually go to a half dozen games every season -- including the "good old days" at RFK and 100-loss campaigns.

Immediately after Kendrick hit his grand slam against the Dodgers my buddy called me and we agreed to try to get tickets for at least one game of the NLCS. We settled on Game 4 because we figured it would be an easier "get" based on our rationale that it wouldn't be as novel as the first home game of the series and probably wouldn't be as important overall as it proved to be. Pretty cool to be wrong about that last part.

My second born son and I watched Game 6 of the World Series at Nationals Park on the big screen, which was also pretty cool -- but technically wouldn't count, I suppose.
