multiple times and many of her friends receiving emails. She's tried to call just to confirm she's on the list but she either gets someone who says "they can't check that" or she gets a recording. My dad got an email on a Tuesday for a Wednesday clinic... completely missed/ignored it until the weekend, called on Tuesday of the next week and got in for his first shot the next day.

Meanwhile my 94 year old grandfather has heard zero from anything about getting his first shot despite all three of his daughters trying to get him signed up somewhere. I'm not one to make a fuss about stuff but I've contemplated complaining to the government/media/social media to let them know that there's a 94 year old with COPD that can't get a vaccine anywhere. I imagine he'd probably get a call pretty quickly if we started making enough fuss.
