Hotel and things to do in Raleigh on Saturday?


We're heading there Saturday morning, probably arrive around noon. Looking at a litter of dogs Sunday afternoon in Wake Forest, NC. We figured we'd spend Saturday in Raleigh. Any recommendations? Areas to focus on for hotel? I haven't been there in many years.
