Looking at our schedule, think we're missing an opportunity

I know this is an odd year, and while it's great to have all those home games, wouldn't there be some value in scheduling games in other parts of the state to begin building some buzz from a recruiting standpoint and some fan interest?

Baseball is a sport that is OK on tv if you love the game, but is so great in person for the casual fan. The idea of being able to take kids (youth teams, family, etc) to a game close by creates such an opportunity to build the brand and build interest.

I just moved to tidewater and spent most of my life in the DC area and have not seen a game in person since I was on campus. I was really hoping for games at Bill and the Broad or ODU or even Richmond/VCU. A home series against someone OOC played down here would be great. Get the local Hokie Clubs to push it, schedule events around it, etc.

The foundation for this program is really starting to solidify, would love to see us own the state both from a recruiting but also a fan perspective.
