Speaking of Molly Hatchett, I have a memory of when I was in 9th grade (1983) and my high school was playing Graham HS in Bluefield at Mitchell Stadium. I swear I remember Danny Joe Brown getting on the PA system at halftime and urging everyone to come to Graham’s homecoming shindig that MH was playing at. Am I dreaming this? I haven’t really had anyone confirm this to date. I know a guy that played at Graham, but he can’t really remember it. Bourbonstreet, didn’t you go to Bluefield HS? Do you remember this? Anyone else?
