Why can’t you fund your own HSA. My company pays $4600 to it and I top it


off to the IRS max. HSA’s are your money, for ever, why can’t you put it back in? Side note. I just pay my bills out of pocket and save all of my HSA for retirement - should have over $100K+ by then (5 yrs from now). If a I die, it becomes my wife’s to continue to use, if we both die, it becomes my daughter’s to use. They can treat it like an IRA, or use it for their own medical expenses or buy hookers and blow and pay the taxes.
