but the total number of reported deaths is about 600,000 ... which represents 0.16% of the US Population. More than 80% of the reported deaths had co-morbidities according to most estimates. So for those without underlying conditions, the chances of dying from this virus are extremely remote ... you don't need to be a math major to figure that out. So yes, the statistics are clearly not exact but it is like buying a 100 lottery tickets vs 1 lottery ticket. Your chances of winning are 100 times greater but you will almost certainly not win in either case.
