We have a deeper team, not nearly the same level of talent or experience

We're setting up for a great regular season, but superior talent carries you in March (e.g. Tre Mann). Experience also counts, which the S16 team had loads of going into their 3rd NCAA tournament in as many years.

Who would you rather have in a game?
Robinson vs Murphy
NAW vs Alleyne
Hill vs Radford
Outlaw vs Mutts
Blackshear vs Aluma

Honestly in that comparison I would pick all 5 of the '19 guys. Probably would take Aluma over Outlaw though, but it's close given Outlaw was the best 3p shooter we've had since Curry. The guys we have now can be great players, but they have limitations that our NBA guys in '19 just didn't have. I would argue '19 had better functional height with NAW and Hill both being 6'5 athletic wings, something we've sorely missed.
