My take on the occasional losses..

When you have good teams it's HARD to stay focused and up every time you hit the field. They get used to winning and aren't really afraid when they take the field. They start playing and the other team gets a few runs with some good hits and some lucky ones mixed in with some walks or HBP. Then when you hit it seems like nothing goes your way, hard shots go right to somebody, defense makes good plays, your players don't seem to be swinging at good pitches and you hit alot of can of corn pop ups. When it;s all said and done you step back and "go damn, how'd we lose that game". You regroup and talk about what your teams style is and how you do those things with discipline and fundamentals. Then you take a (wounded / mad) team out and they bare down and play their game. Then you walk off with"that's how we play".
