Haha, yeah weight loss definitely gets harder as we age.

When I lost weight ten years ago, I was 29, so it was surprisingly easy once I gave up sugary drinks and gave my metabolism a little kick-start with some incline walking. This go-round it seems to be a little more difficult, but a lot of that has to do with me being sedentary. I used to be a construction superintendent, so getting 10,000 steps every day was easy. Some days I'd eclipse 20,000. But about 6 months before COVID hit, I got moved into the office and instantly became sedentary. It's been rough on both my back and my waistline, particularly after a COVID winter of never doing anything. But I'm starting to see some improvement in both areas now that the weather is warming up and I'm getting back into "yardwork shape." Hopefully I'll be back around 180 by the end of the summer.

Good luck...you'll get there.
